Ever since my late teens I've been fascinated by makeup. Foundation, mascara, eye shadow, lipsticks, and blush - you should've seen my stock, er...makeup drawers. In the last 5 years (since becoming slave to hubby and children, happily of course), I've put the makeup I have come to love and cherish aside and moved on to tinted moisturizer and bronzers plus lip gloss for a quick pick-me-up. I wish I found the time to be able to purdy myself up once in a while!
Hi Spoon It On,
You are gorgeous!
I just like getting made-up - it's my confidence booster. My daily routine takes me less than 2 minutes: put on tinted moisturizer (it evens out my skin tone and it has SPF 30) and lip gloss. For the full routine, it takes less than 10 minutes. As you can see, I don't like to spend a lot of time on my face.
I wish I knew how to put it on properly...that's my problem. I just use gloss and occasionally some eye liner. I love the Bare Escentuals too. I've had them try it on at Sephora before and it really makes a difference.
